CLIMMAR Board reflects on first year in Office at Spring Meeting in Brussels
Online since 18-03-2026
CLIMMAR held its annual Spring Meeting in Brussels, bringing together board members and representatives from across Europe to reflect on the past year and discuss priorities for the future. During the General Assembly, members reviewed CLIMMAR’s activities over the past twelve months and discussed initiatives for 2026. Discussions also focused on political priorities and the long-term strategic development of the organisation.
In addition, CLIMMAR exchanged views with construction sector representatives on the evolving sector and its associated policies. Representatives also participated in a dialogue with COPA-COGECA regarding current developments affecting European agriculture in light of the proposed CAP post-2027. Preparations were also undertaken for the upcoming CLIMMAR Congress, to be hosted by Fedagrim in Belgium.
Reflecting on his first year in office, CLIMMAR President Tomas Kvapil expressed his appreciation for the cooperation and support of CLIMMAR members: “During a time of profound change in our sector, it is essential to have a strong voice for dealerships in Europe. Together with the expertise of my colleagues, we are shaping CLIMMAR’s strategic direction and ensuring that we remain a strong advocate for our members across Europe in the years ahead.”
Vice President Jan Henrik Holk echoed these sentiments, emphasising the importance of continuity and knowledge sharing: “European agriculture is undergoing significant change. In these times, it is important to share experiences and discuss common challenges. Strengthening CLIMMAR’s role as an advocate for European machinery dealers with policy exchanges in Brussels is therefore essential.”
Vice President Romain Meunier highlighted the challenges and opportunities ahead in the sector’s transformation: “Technological change and increasing geopolitical instability will be major challenges in the coming years. European dealers play a key role in supporting farmers on the ground, acting as the bridge between the farm and the factory.”
Treasurer Isabella Fontana highlighted the association’s ongoing initiatives, highlighting the role of gardening machinery dealers: “Through CLIMMAR’s working groups and collaborative efforts, we will continue to address key challenges for dealers, including those in the gardening and landscaping sector.”
Looking ahead, CLIMMAR remains committed to fostering strong partnerships and advocating for the political interests of agricultural machinery dealers across Europe.
