Formation of Agrárgép Szövetség

On 26 March 2026, a new chapter of the Hungarian agricultural machinery sector began with the formation of the Hungarian Agricultural Machinery Association (Agrárgép Szövetség).
This new association is the result of the merger of the manufacturers' association (MEGOSZ) and the dealers' association (MEGFOSZ).
The founding General Assembly saw nearly 80% participation, clearly demonstrating the strong commitment of the members to achieving unified and effective professional representation.
During the assembly, the leadership of the new association was elected, with Zsolt Harsányi appointed as president.
Until the official court registration is completed, MEGOSZ and MEGFOSZ will continue to operate as separate entities while the integration process progresses.
We are confident that this new, unified organisation will further strengthen the representation of manufacturers and dealers in Hungary.
