Start DSI 2020 postponed

Online since 01-04-2020
The current COVID-19 situation made CLIMMAR decide to postpone the start of the 2020 Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) from the beginning of April to 1 June.
This is a provisional decision since we don’t know how long and intense the COVID-19 situation will remain to be. On 18 May, the final decision on a “GO” for the DSI 2020 will be taken. The decision to postpone was taken after a consultative round amongst the participating countries on the national situation and their assessment on the willingness of their members to participate in the DSI at this moment. All the countries expressed the feeling that running the DSI from the original planned start in April, would not be appropriate concerning the tough situation most of their members are in at this moment.

Nonetheless, a complete cancellation of the DSI 2020 was also not considered to be a good option, since the DSI in itself measures the relation between dealers and their tractor brand. Taking into account the current COVID-19 situation, it is exactly this relation that is so important to measure and to see if it improves or deteriorates during stressful times like this.

The CLIMMAR Dealer Satisfaction Index weighs the quality of the relationship between tractor suppliers and their A-dealers on these 14 aspects:
  1. Brand image and impact
  2. Marketing of tractors
  3. Marketing of spare parts
  4. After-sales service and warranty
  5. Computer services
  6. Advertising and product support material
  7. Administration and terms of payment
  8. Training
  9. Management
  10. Manufacturer dealer relations
  11. Profitability contribution
  12. Improvement
  13. Financing offers
  14. Theft protection
